Sargis Hovhannisyan creates a unique bridge between the past and present through his works.

His works reflect the perceptions of Soviet times which clashes with present commercialized society’s consuming attitude and gives birth to images which as he states “make art unique filter or public testing, through which it is made possible to discover the alternative voices of creative practices formed during authoritarian and totalitarian systems”.
